Happy Halloween to you All

Morning all and what a spooky day it is:)
Now if you remember my drunken craft evening with Polly, well after some minor alterations whilst not under the influence here is what I made. Edited to tell you it is a hat

The design is made by Polly who very generously gave us her template to bring home, can see some more of these little numbers coming out of the closet as they are so easy to make.

So without any more waffle, here is my Halloween creation

All Soft and Cuddly - Polar Bears by Wild Rose Studio

Good morning to you all again, looks like snow each time I look in the sky so thought I would introduce you to some cuties that live in the snow
This is one of the new Traditional Release images from
called
Polar Bears

I decided this weekend to follow a sketch, not something I normally do, so it was a challenge, I also wanted to use some of my older Xmas papers up and found some Polar Bear papers :) just perfect I thought, not sure now if they go that well with the other papers but there you go!!
The Sketch is from
I rotated it to suit my image.

So here is my playing

The base layer and contrast is an antique gold, the papers I am sorry not sure they are so old.  Bling added for snow and a star too, a little bow and some pearls to give it a little extra. Quite a basic layout for me.

here is a close up of the image

Funny Ha Ha !!!!!! Just not like me

Good morning to you all in the land of blog
At the weekend  I am attending the family gathering, fancy dress is optional (so I will not be partaking) as the theme is Halloween.  Although I have agreed to take my mousie pumpkin for decoration :) a fitting location.

So here I am today with her Birthday card, now I have not gone sassy this time, but an unknown for me "humour"

See what you think, I used one of my recent win images from Bugaboo this is Stella Peeker Another Drink with the matching sentiment.
Another of my 8 inch square cards, a grey base colour and contrast, with papers from Grimsby Crafts.  Punchwork dressed with lace and a dotty black ribbon.  Lots of Hobby House pearls and some gorgeous pearl black swirls.  The airbrushed R04 Wild Orchid Crafts flower I think works perfectly here.

Here is a close up of the image
coloured in copics with some Atyou Orange and red and distressed with TH Magnolia.

I made a box to match
I hope she likes it.

Bella with Gifts by Wild Rose Studio

Good morning to you all again, it is so foggy outside and so miserable
and this creation may make you feel even colder.

I decided that my dear little Bella's need to come out and visit you all again and couple that with I needed to use some more die cuts that arrived in the post (not sure how that happened honestly!!)

So here is my playing
I made another one of my half circle cards, and this is the largest of the new fancy grand circles (one of my new dies sets).  The inner layer is also the next size in of these gorgeous dies.  I added the image in the fancy oval added some of my Memory Box frostyville dies and my new circle frostyville die :) The papers sorry that old that I do not have a cover on them any more.
The sentiment is by Wild Rose Studio from the Jolly Greetings set.

here is a close up of the image
Bella with Gifts by Wild Rose Studio
coloured in copics with some Atyou, stickles and liquid applique (non puffed on this creation, although not sure I like it this way, sort of looks like pearls!! and not snow on the close up)

Again this is photo heavy so you may want to grab yourselves a drink :)
I made a pumpkin, an idea I had a while ago, well actually when I was having coffee with Lols and Christine in Doncaster.

I will do the close ups first before letting you into the how I did it bit

The images are from a clear stamp pack, so versatile and lots of them

*House Mouse CLEAR Stamps HALLOWEEN CSHM047

from Simon Says Stamp, adorable so many of them

and here is how I created it
blew up a balloon drew around the middle, then a circle for the front and then used my old newspapers and some PVA and did paper mache.  several layers but on day three when I went up to add more layers the balloon had died :(  it was strong enough to keep going, so told Matt I needed some bumps for the shaping so he squashed some toilet roll inners and cut them and we sellotaped them on and then I carried on covering with paper
I then trimmed it at the bottom and around the front and tidied it before giving it a coat of gesso and then I sprayed the inside a sandy yellow colour and the outer a bright orange. It was too bright so I used my TH vintage photo to tone it down a bit, before adding some poinsettia green flower tops for the stem.
I glued some grassy fronds from the cheapy shop around the outside and on the floor inside so it looked as if it was sat on the grass and then used some lovely ostrich feathers in orange and black to make those horrid stringy bits that are inside the pumpkin.
The rest was just sticking my little meeces onto sticks etc to dress
Do hop over and join us for the challenge :)  and the HOP!!!!!

Today I woke up to a BT text message inviting me to lunch, at 6.45am........... this may have been a nice surprise if I actually had known who the message was from!!!!!! anyway, this follows on from one heck of a fabulous night on Friday evening.  I was invited to Halloween craft evening with my wonderful friend Polly.  I took my bottle of wine and my body and well let us say that I did come away with a completed creation and slightly worse for wear at 12.30am.  Waking up on Saturday with a little bit of a head :)  With the thought that I had a copic class to run, so had to get my head together rather quickly.

As it was the class was full with 11 lovely ladies attending and my head I believe was with it for the task ahead.  The lovely Polly popped in to see the lovely Betty and obviously to tell the class of my prior activities.

A Bit of Masculinity with out the Fish!!!!

Good morning to you all in the land of blog
I needed to make a male Birthday card for my boss, so here is what I came up with. He likes, history of locations hence the stamps on the bunting and the clock charm and vintage car.

The base colour is chocolate brown card as is the contrast.  The papers are from Grimsby Crafts.  The image is Stampin with the Dragon.  Lace from stash as is the charm.  The bunting and postcard are cut from the papers used which was a 12 x 12 and this card is an 8 x 8 inch square.  Ready for all those work signatures.

As always, I would like to thank all of my wonderful visitors and followers for the lovely and inspirational comments you leave, which allows me to hop on over in return to see your own lovely work and welcome to my new followers.
